Werewolves
A year ago, humanity faced a tragedy of unimaginable proportions when the light of a supermoon activated a latent gene in humans. This phenomenon caused millions of people to transform into ferocious werewolves, unleashing a wave of chaos and destruction that claimed nearly a billion lives. Now, a year later, the supermoon returns, bringing with it the fear that the nightmare will happen again.
Two scientists, who witnessed the original devastation, have spent months studying the phenomenon in a desperate attempt to prevent the mutation from reactivating. Despite their efforts, their research is not advanced enough to stop the inevitable. As the supermoon rises, the transformations begin again, plunging the world back into an abyss of destruction.
Faced with this scenario, the two scientists must make a difficult decision: leave their labs and embark on a dangerous journey to reach the relative safety of an isolated family home. The journey is fraught with danger, not only because of the werewolves lurking around every corner but also due to the collapse of social structures and the desperation consuming the remaining survivors.
As they traverse desolate cities and lifeless landscapes, the pair reflects on the mistakes that led to this point and the apparent impossibility of changing the course of events. Each step brings them closer to their destination, but it also serves as a constant reminder of their fragile situation and the little they can do to save what’s left of the world.
The rise of the supermoon marks not only the return of a physical threat but also an emotional and psychological challenge for the scientists and the few survivors. As the story unfolds, fundamental questions arise about human nature, science, and survival.
