A couple on the verge of divorce gets a second chance at love when they begin restoring a historic hotel. During the renovation, their two children uncover a secret collection of letters exchanged between a couple who never actually met. As Christmas approaches, the teenagers come up with a plan to recreate a similar romantic gesture for their parents, hoping to reignite the love and closeness they once shared.
