In a post-apocalyptic world scarred by the aftermath of a devastating epidemic, humanity is no longer the undisputed dominant species. A new force has emerged, led by a simian named Caesar, whose intelligence and strategic mind far exceed what was once thought possible for his kind. Gifted with a brilliant mind and a natural instinct for leadership, Caesar has guided a group of evolved apes toward a new order—one in which primates refuse to be subjugated and instead seek to carve out their own space for freedom and dignity.
Coexistence with the humans who managed to survive the health catastrophe of the previous decade has been tenuous. A fragile truce between the two species maintains a tense peace, one built more on necessity than on trust. Despite efforts to avoid conflict, the balance begins to crumble, and hostilities resurface. Peace, once seen as an achievable goal, quickly fades in the face of deep-seated differences and mutual fear.
The apes—organized, strong, and determined—now represent a real threat to the remaining humans, but they also embody a new kind of civilization. Under Caesar’s leadership, they do not seek domination through violence alone, but rather aim to build a future where they no longer live under human oppression. This vision, however, is constantly challenged by the remnants of a humanity desperate to reclaim its place and terrified of losing what remains of its world.
