On her 18th birthday, Elliott takes a psychedelic mushroom trip that unexpectedly brings her face-to-face with a much older version of herself—her 39-year-old self, who is full of humor, sarcasm, and life lessons. As the two versions of Elliott interact, her older self begins to offer unsolicited advice, pointing out what she should and shouldn’t do. These conversations force Elliott to confront deeper questions about family, love, and her own future. What starts as a carefree, mind-altering experience soon becomes a transformative summer that challenges everything she thought she knew about herself and the choices that lie ahead.
