Heavier Trip
In the heart of Norway, the most unusual and extreme heavy metal band, Impaled Rektum, faces an unexpected challenge. After engaging in a series of antics befitting their rebellious spirit, the band members find themselves serving time in the country's most comfortable prison. However, their peaceful incarceration is abruptly disrupted when they receive alarming news: the reindeer farm owned by their guitarist Lotvonen’s parents is on the brink of bankruptcy and about to be auctioned off.
To save the family property, the musicians arrive at an obvious conclusion—they need money, and fast. The solution is as risky as it is logical in their world: escape from prison and play at the biggest heavy metal festival on the planet, Wacken Open Air, in northern Germany. There, on the main stage, they hope to gain both the recognition and the funds necessary to prevent the loss of the farm.
The plan is far from simple. From the very start, the members of Impaled Rektum face increasingly absurd obstacles. Their escape propels them into a whirlwind of extreme situations, unexpected confrontations, and questionable decisions that challenge both the law and common sense. But the spirit of heavy metal is stronger than any adversity, and the musicians embark on a journey that will test their endurance, their talent, and, most of all, their determination.
As they press on toward Wacken, the challenges grow more intense—but so does their resolve. Amid chases, improbable encounters, and a relentless stream of chaos, the band remains steadfast in their goal. After all, for any metalhead, playing at Wacken isn’t just a dream—it’s the pinnacle of musical glory.
