Danny Dolinski, an aging hitman trapped in a life that seems to have no way out, lives a monotonous and solitary routine. His world takes an unexpected turn when Anata, the energetic and charismatic manager of the club where he spends his days, becomes the object of his desire. Although Danny feels increasingly disconnected from his past as a professional killer, Anata's presence gives him a spark of hope, reminding him of what he was once capable of.
But his peace is disrupted when "The Company," a secret organization he works for, calls him back into the field. However, this time it’s not to return to his usual role as a hitman, but for a completely different task: to train a young talent, a Generation Z rookie named Wihlborg. This assassination prodigy is a young man with a defiant and disdainful attitude, who seems to have everything needed to become a deadly machine but lacks the experience and discipline that only a veteran like Danny can impart.
The task of training Wihlborg is no easy feat. Despite his obvious skill, the young man shows no respect for the rules or traditional methods that Danny has perfected over the years. Instead of seeing the veteran as a mentor, Wihlborg views him as a figure of the past, someone whose time has already passed. The relationship between the two becomes a battlefield in its own right, where they clash not only in terms of skills but also in their differences in personality, values, and worldview.
As Danny struggles to find his purpose in a world that has left him behind, and to earn the respect of his young disciple, he also faces his attraction to Anata, who confounds him with her youthful energy and ability to keep him on edge. As conflicts intensify, both with Wihlborg and The Company, Danny will be forced to reconsider whether he can truly leave his dark past behind or if he is destined to remain a pawn in a game much larger than himself.
