Good Bad Things
Danny, a young man with muscular dystrophy who has suffered disappointments in love, decides to step out of his comfort zone and venture into the world of online dating. After several failed attempts at relationships, Danny feels trapped in a cycle of insecurity and frustration. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he connects with Madi, an enigmatic photographer passionate about capturing the unique essence of people through her lens.
What seemed like just another conversation in the vast sea of online profiles soon becomes a deep connection. Madi, with her honest and unbiased gaze, challenges Danny to open up, to show his vulnerability, and to accept his imperfections. Throughout their interactions, Danny begins to question the preconceived ideas he has about himself and his body. Instead of seeing his condition as an obstacle, he starts to recognize the beauty in his uniqueness.
The relationship with Madi not only awakens a new perspective on love and attraction in Danny, but it also leads him on an internal journey of self-discovery. Through sincere conversations and the photo sessions that Madi organizes, Danny learns to see his body not as a limitation, but as a unique expression of his history and struggle. Each image taken by Madi becomes a reminder that true beauty lies in authenticity and the ability to accept oneself as is.
As their relationship grows, Danny begins to challenge the conventional standards of beauty imposed by society. The figure he always considered imperfect transforms before his eyes into a work of art. Madi, unknowingly, guides him through an emotional liberation process, where he finally learns to love himself and feel proud of the person he is.
