The small, remote town of Ferbane in Ireland is shaken by a baffling mystery that threatens the safety of its inhabitants. In an unexpected twist, Dublin, the country's capital, has become unreachable. No one in Ferbane, or in nearby areas, seems able to communicate with the city, and this phenomenon quickly raises alarm in the community. What initially began as a simple communication issue quickly turns into a nightmare when unsettling videos surface on social media, showing images of Dublin completely empty, devastated, and seemingly overrun by a supernatural threat.
The videos reveal what appears to be an invasion of undead creatures that have taken over the city. In the footage, people can be seen walking through the streets of the capital, but their faces are disfigured, and their movements are erratic and out of control, heightening the sense of terror and despair. The feeling that something sinister is unfolding in the heart of Ireland spreads quickly to other areas, and the uncertainty about what is happening in Dublin begins to grow.
As Ferbane's population struggles to understand what is going on, the anxiety escalates, as it seems the city has fallen victim to a force beyond anyone's control. With no reliable information or means to make contact with the outside world, the residents of Ferbane face an increasing sense of imminent danger. The possibility that the threat may spread to their small community becomes more real, leaving everyone wondering if they will be able to withstand the wave of terror that seems to be approaching.
