In a world transformed by a great flood, a solitary cat, displaced from its home by the waters, is forced to adapt to a new life. The flood has swept everything in its path, leaving many animals without a safe place. However, fate has provided the cat with an unexpected refuge: a boat. There, it finds company in a variety of species, each with its own fears, customs, and expectations.
This new floating home, although safe, also presents a challenge. Throughout the journey, the cat must learn to coexist with other beings, some of which are very different from it. Living together won't be easy, as tensions between species are palpable, and the limited space on the boat generates conflicts. The animals must share scarce resources like food and water, which tests their patience and their ability to cooperate.
As the story progresses, the cat begins to understand that, beyond their differences, they all share the same goal: to survive and find a place where they can rebuild their lives. However, the world they once knew is gone, and the old rules no longer apply. The boat becomes a microcosm of a broken world, where each day is a struggle to adapt and stay afloat, not only physically but emotionally.
The cat’s journey is, in many ways, a reflection of resilience and the ability of living beings to adapt to the unexpected. Through its interactions with the other animals, it learns that solidarity and mutual acceptance are essential to overcoming the challenges of a world that is no longer what it once was. Throughout this journey, the cat not only finds a new home but also a new understanding of the importance of community and cooperation.
