According to the town’s eldest residents, this creature—known only as “the Blood Beast”—is not merely a myth, but a dark reality that returns cyclically when the Harvest Moon reaches its peak. Its arrival is neither random nor whimsical; it responds to an ancient and sinister pact made between the town’s first settlers and the monster itself. In exchange for protection from natural disasters, plagues, and other threats, a human sacrifice was offered each time the moon bathed the sky in its golden glow.
Although times have changed and science now dominates everyday life, the people of the town still feel the heavy weight of tradition.
