Set against the rugged and bleak landscape of 1790s Great Britain, the story of Tornado tells the thrilling adventure of a young Japanese woman determined to change her fate in a hostile and dangerous world. Tornado, the daughter of a traveling puppeteer, is part of the family show featuring samurai puppets, a traditional art form they have taken from village to village in search of livelihood and a better life.
However, Tornado and her family’s journey takes a dramatic turn when they cross paths with a ruthless gang led by the feared Sugarman and his ambitious son, Little Sugar. This gang poses not only a threat to Tornado and her father’s safety but also to the fragile stability they are trying to build. Amid this dangerous confrontation, Tornado sees an opportunity to take control of her own destiny.
Driven by the need to survive and seek justice, Tornado decides to risk everything by stealing the gold from the gang’s most recent heist. This bold act is not only a direct challenge to the authority of Sugarman and his son but also a courageous effort to honor the memory of her father, who is brutally murdered by the gang during the conflict.
