A newly graduated Reverend, eager to begin his calling, is assigned to a small, serene chapel nestled in a peaceful country village. At first glance, the quaint surroundings seem like the perfect place for spiritual work—a quiet, picturesque community with well-behaved residents. However, beneath the village’s idyllic exterior, something dark and unsettling begins to surface, particularly linked to a local businessman who harbors an ominous secret.
One cold, rainy night, a mysterious young girl appears at the chapel seeking shelter. The Reverend, eager to offer comfort, warmly welcomes her into the sanctuary. But it soon becomes clear that her visit is not one of simple refuge. Instead, she brings a grim message in the form of a brutal, bloody bite. As the girl leaves without a trace, the Reverend is left to grapple with a new, inexplicable hunger that consumes him—a thirst he cannot control.
Confused and terrified by the changes overtaking him, the Reverend struggles to understand what has happened. There is no evidence of the girl’s presence the following day, and no one seems to remember her visit. All he has to go on is the lingering pain from the bite and an overwhelming thirst that grows more insistent with each passing hour.
Determined to uncover the truth, the Reverend embarks on a mission to cleanse the village and its surroundings, but the nature of his task begins to shift. Faced with his newfound, uncontrollable cravings, he must choose between two paths: continue preaching the word of God or satisfy the bloodlust that now courses through his veins. As the line between righteousness and hunger blurs, the Reverend is forced to confront the darkness hidden not only within the village but within himself. The peace of the idyllic parish is shattered as a battle of faith and survival unfolds.
