The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

In The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the epic story of the struggle against evil continues, but with the Fellowship of the Ring separated and facing challenges on different fronts. After the dramatic events of the first installment, the paths of the protagonists diverge, yet they all remain united by a single purpose: to destroy the One Ring and defeat the dark forces that threaten to plunge Middle-earth into darkness.

Frodo Baggins and his loyal friend Sam embark on a grueling journey to the heart of Mordor. Their mission is clear but nearly impossible: to carry the Ring to Mount Doom and destroy it. Along the way, they are constantly pursued by Gollum, a creature corrupted by the Ring’s power, who becomes both a guide and a threat. The tension between trust and distrust toward Gollum is a key part of this leg of the journey.

Meanwhile, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli relentlessly chase the orcs who have captured Merry and Pippin. This pursuit leads them to the borders of the kingdom of Rohan, a land threatened both by Sauron’s forces and the betrayal of Saruman, the wizard who was once wise but has now become an instrument of evil. Saruman, entrenched in the Tower of Orthanc in Isengard, has created an army of enhanced orcs—the Uruk-hai—and represents one of the greatest immediate threats to the free peoples.
