The Electric State
In a not-so-distant future, where the boundaries between humanity and technology blur, a young orphan embarks on an adventure that will change her life forever. The story begins when the teenager, whose life has been marked by the loss of her parents, receives the devastating news that her younger brother has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Driven by the unconditional love she feels for him and the hope of finding him, she decides to embark on a risky journey to locate him.
What initially seemed like a solitary mission soon turns into a journey full of unexpected allies. Along the way, the young woman encounters a peculiar group of characters. The first is a robot, whose initially cold and calculated presence proves to be much more complex than it appears. This android, seemingly designed for utilitarian tasks, becomes a key player in the mission, providing not only technical support but also a form of companionship in an increasingly dehumanized world.
The second companion is an experienced smuggler, whose skills and knowledge of the underworld are essential for navigating the dangers and obstacles that arise on the path. Although his intentions are not always clear and his morality exists on a gray line, this man becomes an invaluable ally in the young woman's quest. Despite their differences, the three characters form an unexpected bond, driven by their shared desire to find the young woman's brother.
The journey is filled with challenges. As they progress, they face desolate landscapes, risky situations, and a series of characters that will test their skills and trust in each other. The relationship between the three grows, and with it comes the realization that each one has something vital to offer, even though their stories are deeply different. The smuggler, with his ingenuity and initial distrust of the robot, eventually recognizes its worth. The orphan, for her part, discovers in the android a protective figure who, though not human, has a unique way of caring for and understanding her pain.
