An archaeologist and her ex-husband, an expert in Norse languages, embark on a thrilling quest to find a legendary treasure hidden in Iceland during Christmas. Their search takes them across the island’s remote and breathtaking landscapes, as they uncover clues linked to ancient Viking history and long-forgotten secrets. Along the way, they must confront dangerous challenges and decipher complex puzzles that lead them closer to their goal.
However, they are not the only ones chasing the treasure. A group of others soon joins the hunt, each with their own agenda. This creates a tense race to secure the treasure before it falls into the wrong hands. As they compete against these new adversaries, the archaeologist and her ex-husband must overcome their complicated past and rely on each other to stay ahead in the increasingly perilous pursuit.
With danger lurking at every turn, the stakes grow higher as the rivals close in on the treasure. Time is running out, and the archaeologist and her ex-husband must navigate a web of deception, shifting alliances, and escalating threats. In the midst of Iceland's stunning winter landscape and the spirit of Christmas, they must race against time to prevent the treasure from being claimed by those who would use it for their own destructive purposes. The hunt becomes a race not only for the treasure but also for their lives.
