On a remote island, where the sea and wind seem to keep secrets, lives Charles, an eccentric lottery winner who has chosen isolation as his lifestyle. Surrounded by nature and far from the hustle and bustle of the modern world, Charles has a dream as peculiar as he is: to organize a private concert with his favorite musician, Herb McGwyer, and relive the songs that marked his youth.
But what begins as a musical whim quickly turns into a complicated reunion from the past. Without Herb knowing, Charles has also invited Nell, Herb’s ex-girlfriend and former bandmate. Nell doesn’t come alone: her current husband is with her, completing a triangle full of history, unresolved tensions, and buried emotions that now resurface.
Charles’s plan, seemingly innocent and nostalgic, begins to unravel as old wounds open up. What was meant to be an intimate musical celebration turns into an emotional battlefield. Unspoken words, uncomfortable silences, and shared memories provoke confrontations filled with resentment and melancholy. The atmosphere grows increasingly tense, and as if the universe wanted to add its own touch of drama, an unexpected storm hits the island, leaving them completely cut off from the outside world.
Trapped by the bad weather and the weight of their shared history, the protagonists have no choice but to confront themselves and each other. While Charles watches as his longed-for concert turns into an emotional chaos, he desperately tries to piece together his dream before everything completely falls apart.
