School Ties

In the 1950s, David Greene is awarded a football scholarship to a prestigious prep school, where he faces the difficult decision of concealing his Jewish heritage. Fearing potential anti-Semitism, he keeps this part of his identity hidden from both his classmates and teachers. David soon becomes the star athlete of the school, admired for his exceptional football skills. However, when his Jewish background is unexpectedly revealed, the atmosphere changes dramatically. His worst fears come true as his peers, once friendly, begin to turn against him. He faces violent threats, harsh public ridicule, and the breakdown of friendships that were once valued, leaving him to grapple with the harsh reality of intolerance.
