Pia is a single woman with little hope of finding love on the horizon. She lives in London, where she runs a photography studio with her best friend Jay, which is going through a tough time. While she struggles to keep her business afloat, her personal life doesn't seem to be in a better state. Her sister, Sonal, is about to get married, which increases the pressure Pia feels to find someone to share her life with. Additionally, her mother, Laxmi, doesn't miss an opportunity to remind her that she should settle down and start a family, as part of the traditional expectations placed on her.
Pia’s life takes an unexpected turn when a visit to a spiritual guru brings with it a surprising prediction: the love of her life is one of the next five men she will date. This announcement, although curious, sets off a chain of events that leads Pia to reconsider her love life and embark on a search for a partner that, although challenging, turns out to be a transformative experience.
With her family constantly meddling in her love life, Pia is forced to make decisions she never imagined. Between her mother's advice and interventions, her sister's attempts to set up dates, and the constant presence of her best friend Jay, Pia embarks on a journey that becomes both a comedy of errors and an emotional process of self-discovery. Each date she has, rather than being a simple romantic encounter, becomes an opportunity to learn something new about herself, what she truly seeks in a relationship, and the expectations that have been imposed on her by her family and culture.
