In a post-apocalyptic future, thousands of years after a cataclysm wiped civilization off the map as we know it, humanity has found a new way to survive—on wheels. The planet has become a vast hunting ground, where gigantic mobile cities—colossal mechanical structures mounted on enormous wheels—roam the Earth in a constant battle for survival. This system, known as “Municipal Darwinism,” turns cities into predators that consume smaller settlements to seize their resources and extend their own existence.
Within this landscape of metal, fire, and dust unfolds the story of Tom Natsworthy, played by Robert Sheehan. Tom is a young historian from the lower class of London, one of the largest mobile cities on the planet. His life is turned upside down when he crosses paths with Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar), a mysterious and dangerous fugitive who has boarded London with a deeply personal mission of vengeance.
The meeting between Tom and Hester is explosive, and soon both are forced to leave the (relative) safety of the city behind and face the hostile, desolate world together. Bound by necessity and chance, the two protagonists—so different from one another—set off on a journey that will test their character, their ideals, and their ability to trust each other. What begins as a fight for survival quickly evolves into something much greater: a race against time to prevent the world from descending into destruction once again.
