Karate Kid: Legends

In this new and highly anticipated installment of the Karate Kid universe, the story takes a fresh and emotional turn by introducing Li Fong, a young kung fu prodigy who, after a family tragedy, is forced to leave his life in Beijing and start over in New York with his mother. Separated from everything he knows, Li struggles to adapt to a new culture, a new school, and classmates who don’t always welcome him with open arms. Although he hopes to leave violence behind, his past and its conflicts seem to follow him wherever he goes.

Despite his reluctance to fight, Li can’t help but find himself caught in situations where his martial arts skills attract attention. However, it isn’t until a new friend finds himself in trouble that Li decides to take action, signing up for a karate tournament to stand up for what he believes is right. He soon discovers that, although impressive, his skills are not enough in an environment where the rules of combat and the dominant style differ greatly from the kung fu he knows so well.

This is where the beloved Mr. Han, Li’s kung fu teacher, steps in. Recognizing his student’s potential, but also his need for a new perspective, Mr. Han reaches out to a legendary figure: Daniel LaRusso, the original Karate Kid. Under his guidance, Li embarks on an intense and transformative training process, where he learns to blend the best of kung fu with the principles of karate, creating a unique style that will prepare him for the most important fight of his life.
