Deep in the quiet state of Maine, where routines seem unbreakable and life flows to the slow rhythm of everyday existence, a dark secret lies hidden. Beneath the apparent calm of a small town, a sinister force has begun to awaken. A malevolent presence that has taken on a disturbing and unsettling form: that of a clown known simply as “It.”

This being, whose origins are as mysterious as its true intentions, has started to spread terror among the town’s residents. It all begins with the disappearance and death of several children, unleashing fear within the community and reviving old traumas in a group of adults who, decades ago, were at the center of a similar story.

Seven childhood friends, bound by a past marked by tragedy and mystery, decide to reunite when they sense the nightmare has returned. Years earlier, as mere children, they confronted this creature and believed they had defeated it. However, recent events reveal that the evil had only been dormant, waiting for the right moment to strike again.
