Control Freak
A motivational speaker, known for her charisma and ability to inspire the masses, finds herself trapped in a spiral of suffering and confusion due to a seemingly trivial problem: an incessant itch on her head. This irritating sensation, which begins as something mild and easy to ignore, soon transforms into an unsettling mystery. What appeared to be a simple nuisance turns out to be the first symptom of a much more dangerous and supernatural invasion. In a terrifying twist of events, the woman discovers she has been infected by a parasitic demon from her homeland.
The story revolves around her internal struggle to understand what is happening as she continues her public life as a speaker, where her message of hope and personal growth seems increasingly hollow and distant. As the itching worsens and becomes a palpable physical discomfort, the protagonist begins to experience strange symptoms that alter her perception of reality. The infection, which slowly manifests like a shadow invading her mind and body, leads her to question not only her health but also her identity and her connection to her past.
The parasitic demon, an entity from her homeland, has a malevolent and cunning nature. As the demon takes over her being, the woman faces an internal conflict between her will to resist and the demon's growing control. Her professional and personal life are deeply affected, as she feels torn between the duty to continue motivating others and the urgent need to confront the dark reality invading her body.
The story explores themes of self-discovery, inner struggle, and confronting the demons of the past, both literal and figurative. The protagonist, though brave and determined, is forced to confront the horrors of her own lineage and the true nature of the evil she carries within. The evolution of her fight to free herself from the parasitic demon becomes a powerful metaphor for personal resilience and the struggle to regain control over her destiny.
