A Christmas Proposal

In a picturesque mountain town, two lawyers find themselves on opposing sides of a bitter legal battle. Lisa, a passionate local advocate, is determined to protect her beloved community from the encroaching forces of commercialization. Rick, a big-city attorney, is hired by a wealthy developer to push through a proposal to turn the town into a ski resort, one that would forever alter the character of the area. As the two square off in court, their professional rivalry intensifies, but there’s more to their animosity than just the case at hand.

Lisa and Rick share a history that neither of them could have anticipated. Once childhood sweethearts, they grew up together in the very town they now find themselves at odds over. However, time and circumstance have driven them in different directions, with Lisa staying rooted in her home and Rick building a career in the fast-paced world of urban law. Their reunion under such tense circumstances forces them to confront the past they both left behind.

But fate has other plans. When Rick is involved in a car accident, he finds himself stranded in the very town he once knew so well. Unable to leave immediately due to his injuries, Rick is forced to spend time in the town and reconnect with the people, and the life, he had left behind. As he slowly reacquaints himself with his old surroundings, the quiet charm of the town, along with Lisa’s unwavering dedication to its preservation, begin to work their magic on him.

The more Rick learns about the community’s history and the stakes of the legal battle, the more he begins to question his role in the developer’s plans. As old feelings resurface and the pull of the town’s simple, slower pace becomes undeniable, Rick finds himself torn between his career ambitions and the woman—and the place—that once meant everything to him. In the end, the small town may just offer him the opportunity for a second chance at love and a different kind of future.
