However, new leads come to light thanks to the academic curiosity of a young university student, who stumbles upon scattered documents and testimonies while researching criminal psychology in cold cases.

Her investigation catches the attention of a former detective who, unable to leave the past behind, sees in this case his last chance to close a personal chapter.
