Edge of Tomorrow

In the near future, humanity faces an unprecedented threat: an apparently invincible alien race has invaded Earth, leaving chaos and destruction in its wake. In the midst of this war, Commander William Cage (played by Tom Cruise), a military officer with no real combat experience, is forced to take part in a suicide mission that ultimately costs him his life—or so it seems.

After dying on the battlefield, Cage wakes up in an inexplicable time loop. Doomed to relive the same day over and over again, he dies repeatedly in combat only to awaken at the beginning of his day, with full memory of each experience. What at first appears to be a curse soon becomes an opportunity. With every repetition, Cage gains new skills, learns from his mistakes, and evolves into an increasingly deadly and strategic warrior.

At his side is Rita Vrataski (played by Emily Blunt), a Special Forces heroine renowned for her exploits on the front lines. She has also experienced the time loop phenomenon and recognizes Cage as a crucial asset in changing the course of the war. Together, they form an unstoppable team that defies the logic of time in their quest to find a way to finally defeat the alien invaders.
