Synopsis
Tadeo Jones is a peculiar character in the world of archaeology. Unlike his colleagues, who tend to be serious, methodical, and respected in their field, Tadeo is a bit clumsy and often messes things up at the most unexpected moments. His greatest desire is to be accepted as a true archaeologist by his peers, but his actions frequently backfire and end up causing more problems than solutions.
The story begins with Tadeo trying to fit in with his group of archaeologists, made up of his friends Momia, Jeff, and Belzoni. However, during an expedition, Tadeo makes a serious mistake: he breaks an ancient sarcophagus. This accident triggers a spell that endangers everyone’s lives, unleashing a curse tied to the mummy that rested inside. Suddenly, what was a simple archaeological search turns into a race against time to save his friends and break the curse.
With the group against him because of the chaos he caused, Tadeo finds himself isolated and must rely solely on Sara, a loyal friend who chooses to support him despite the circumstances. Together, they embark on an adventure that takes them across different parts of the world: from Mexico, where it all began, through the city of Chicago, then Paris, and finally Egypt—the cradle of mummies and the ancient mystery surrounding the curse.
